Knot So Calm creates bespoke 

macramé garments and home decor. The Challenge was to create a natural looking yet quirky logo that communicated the play on words and stood out amongst competitors.

After researching the Macramé business sector, we decided to incorporate an illustrated logo mark staying in line with the natural rawness of the materials used in the craft. Then expressed the humour with a nod to the 70s macramé trend by using the font Glamour Absolute.

A colour palette was chosen that reflected the natural ruggedness of materials used but with a little more depth & strength of colour, to set them apart from the usual earthy tones.
